There will always be people who will let you down. But that’s okay. It doesn’t make those people less in importance nor in character. And neither should your perceptions of them be deterred but perhaps this should make you reflect more on yourself. Because that’s the thing, people letting you down means you are “letting” them. This is when you need to ask yourself, why? “Why is someone else the determinant of my mood, my day, my character, my purpose, and my life?” If there is anyone who can bring you down, it is yourself and it should only stop at yourself. You create your energy and you control it. When you feel someone bringing that energy down, choose to stand up for yourself.
Don’t lean on anyone for support because they may not be able to carry your weight let alone their own and they may leave you hanging at some points. If you lean on yourself you might be wobbly here and there, maybe even trip or slip at times but for the most part you’ll stand grounded.
we must be master of ourselves at every situation. dt is freedom in my view.
